Saudi Arabia Hosts Fourth Edition of Hajj Conference and Exhibition

In a bid to promote the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the realm of Hajj and Umrah services, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah organized the fourth edition of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition (KPH) at the Jeddah Superdome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The event took place from January 13th to January 16th, 2025, bringing together a diverse array of participants from various sectors.

Key Highlights of the Event

The grand opening of the KPH IV was officiated by Deputy Governor of Mecca, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz. The conference boasted a robust attendance of 280 participants from different sectors and over 120 speakers. It also served as a platform for local and international Hajj service providers from more than 100 countries to convene and exchange ideas.

Throughout the conference, a total of 75 dialogue sessions were scheduled to delve into discussions on future service design considerations for pilgrims. The organizing committee estimated that the KPH IV would draw approximately 150,000 visitors by the end of the event, including ministers, ambassadors, and representatives from prominent local and international corporations.

Enhancing Service Quality and Innovation

The Saudi government aims to elevate the quality of services provided to Hajj pilgrims through initiatives like the KPH. By fostering better collaboration with Hajj affairs offices, the government seeks to continuously improve the adoption of innovative solutions to enhance service systems and boost operational efficiency.

The current edition of the KPH attracted renowned academics, researchers, diplomatic mission representatives, and 250 entities from the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
