**7th National Congress of Indonesian Muslim Students Association (DPP Serikat Pelajar Muslimin Indonesia) Held in Jakarta**

The 7th National Congress of the Indonesian Muslim Students Association (DPP Sepmi) took place in Jakarta over the weekend on January 25th and 26th, 2025. The event was held at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Education Center in Indonesia’s capital city.

The congress was themed “Building Students with Noble Character, Capacity, Competitiveness, and Utility for the Nation and State of Indonesia.” The opening ceremony of the 7th National Congress of the Sepmi was attended by hundreds of cadres from representatives of each Regional Leadership Council (DPW) and District Leadership Council (DPC) of Sepmi throughout Indonesia. The attendees were treated to performances of art creations and skills from Sepmi cadres as entertainment for the participants of the congress.

Among the distinguished guests at the opening were Kyai Saefulloh, Vice President of the SII, Brigadier General Nanang as a representative from the Indonesian National Police Chief, and OKP Students. The President of the DPP Sepmi expressed his hope that the congress would serve as a bridge of hope towards the realization of aspirations.

“This Sepmi is a platform for students to express all their abilities and shape their character. Therefore, I entrust that the results of this congress will produce decisions that have a significant impact on the progress of Sepmi,” he stated. The Indonesian National Police Chief also delivered a message through Brigadier General Nanang, emphasizing the importance of Sepmi in maintaining public order.

“As part of preparing for Indonesia Emas 2045 (Golden Indonesia 2045), Sepmi is certainly an important part of realizing and contributing to its preparation. I hope that Sepmi can be at the forefront in achieving this,” he said as the Director of Social and Cultural Affairs of the Indonesian National Police Headquarters.

The 7th National Congress of the Indonesian Muslim Students Association in Jakarta was not only a platform for students to showcase their talents and discuss important issues but also a symbol of unity and progress towards a brighter future for Indonesia.
