Ade said that the questioning of the witness was delayed at the request of the person involved. “So, like, on Monday, the investigators will take a statement to clarify the testimony of the dude RS who asked for a postponement yesterday,” Ade said when talking to the media at the Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters, Semanggi, South Jakarta on Friday (23/5/2025). Ade also mentioned that the Jakarta Metro Police is working with the Press Council to investigate the video evidence submitted by Rismon for further examination. The authorities need to consult with the Press Council to make sure they’re not messing up the questioning of the witness. “So, like, is the video, like, journalism or not? So, like, now we know that the Jakarta police are all over this whole investigation into the fake diploma situation. President Jokowi filed a report about it, and now it’s in the hands of the National Security crew at the Jakarta Metro Police. They’re just starting to look into it, you know, doing their thing. The PR guy for the Jakarta police, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi, said they’re gonna talk to this dude Rismon Sianipar on Monday (26/5/2025) because he didn’t show up for questioning on Thursday (22/5/2025). Apparently, Rismon asked for a delay, so they’re gonna chat with him next week.
