REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The Indonesian government has officially issued a Circular Letter (SE) from Three Ministers regarding school holidays during the month of Ramadan 1446 H/2025 AD. The letter, signed in Jakarta on January 20, 2025, was signed by the Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu’ti, the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian, and the Minister of Religion (Menag) Nasaruddin Umar. “The circular letter has been issued. This afternoon it has been issued, the three of us have signed it. And God willing, it has also been uploaded on the ministry’s website,” Abdul Mu’ti told reporters in Jakarta on Sunday (21/1/2025).

According to the contents of the circular letter, learning activities during the month of Ramadan in the Year 1446 Hijriah/2025 AD according to the government’s calendar on the beginning of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, and shared leave/holidays for Eid al-Fitr held at schools/madrasas/religious educational institutions are arranged as follows:

– **February 27-28 and March 3, 4, 5, 2025**: Learning activities will be conducted independently within the family, places of worship, and the community as assigned by schools/madrasas/religious educational institutions.
– **March 6-25, 2025**: Learning activities will be conducted at schools/madrasas/religious educational institutions.
