Friensa’s passion for technology and business propelled him to pursue higher education in Jakarta at Cyber University, where he successfully obtained a Smart Scholarship through an invitation-based program covering 100% of his tuition fees. “My motivation is to ease the burden on my parents and delve deeper into technology at a campus that focuses on digital business,” Friensa shared during an interview in Jakarta on Friday, January 17, 2025.
Overcoming Challenges
Although Cyber University, renowned as the First Fintech University in Indonesia, presented a significant opportunity for high-achieving students like Friensa, securing the scholarship was no easy feat. Friensa’s most significant challenge was ensuring all his documents were complete and obtaining a recommendation from his school. “My teachers were incredibly supportive. They provided guidance, motivation, and wrote recommendation letters crucial to my application,” he recalled gratefully. This process emphasized the importance of attention to detail, hard work, and support from those around him.

Now, with the scholarship in hand, Friensa is even more motivated to excel.
