The recent session of the Full Session of the Election Dispute Resolution (PHP) regarding the Deiyai District Bupati election outcomes was convened at the Constitutional Court building, located on Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Jakarta, on Wednesday (5/2/2025). During the plenary session, the dispute case number 181/PHPU.Bup-XXIII/2025 filed by the Bupati and Vice Bupati candidates Yan Ukago and Stefanus Mote against the Deiyai District Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu Deiyai) was deemed inadmissible.

The 2024 Deiyai Bupati election featured several pairs of candidates representing different political parties. Candidate pair number 1, Ateng Edowai, S.Pdk, M.Pd, and Demianus Agapa, S.Kep.Ns, were backed by the Golkar Party and the Perindo Party. Candidate pair number 2, Petrus Badokapa, S.Th, and Yohanes Adii, S.Hut, received support from the NasDem Party and the Hanura Party. Candidate pair number 3, Yan Ukago, ST, MT, and Stefanus Mote, were endorsed by the Gerindra Party, the PDI Perjuangan, and the Ummat Party. Lastly, candidate pair number 4, Melkianus Mote, ST, and Ayub Pigome, were supported by the PKB, PPP, PKN, PBB, PSI, and the Indonesian People’s Wave Party. Additionally, candidate pair number 5, Dr. Kornelis Pakate, SKM, M.Kes, and Bendiktus Pekei, SE, ran as independent candidates.
