Well, folks, let me tell you about a little incident that went down recently. So, apparently, the Hajj pilgrims were told not to bring too much stuff with them, especially not a hundred packs of cigarettes! Can you believe that? It’s like they were trying to start a cigarette shop over there in Saudi Arabia or something.
According to this dude Abdillah, who’s the Vice Head of the Hajj Organizers at the Airport in Saudi Arabia, they found a whopping 100 packs of cigarettes or around 1,000 individual smokes. And get this, it’s not the first time they’ve found cigarettes since the Indonesian pilgrims landed in Madinah. But hey, this time it’s the biggest haul they’ve had so far, from the moment these folks arrived.
The whole shebang started when this group from JKG touched down at around 4:30 AM Saudi time. After their luggage went through the X-ray machine, lo and behold, they uncovered this massive stash of cigarettes. I’m talking 100 packs spread out across nine suitcases belonging to the Hajj pilgrims. Not really sure why this matters, but there you have it, folks. Crazy stuff happening over there in Madinah, I tell ya!
