So, like, there was this crazy accident on Jalan Raya Jendral Amir Machmud, Kelurahan Padasuka, Cimahi Tengah District, Cimahi City, West Java on Wednesday (21/5). A bunch of vehicles got into a nasty crash, and it was a pretty intense scene, man. One person sadly passed away in this whole mess that went down on the national road.

According to the head of the Gakkum Unit at the Cimahi Traffic Police, Officer Yusup Gustiana spilled the beans, saying, “Yup, there was a gnarly accident this morning around 07.15 AM, where one person died and another got some minor injuries.” Eyewitnesses at the scene spilled the tea that the accident started when a Honda Revo motorcycle with license plate D-4795-HY, ridden by the late victim Soni Sanjaya (39), was cruising from Cimahi towards Padalarang at a moderate speed. However, when the motorcycle reached the accident spot, it apparently lost control and crashed towards the right side. Out of control, the Honda Revo motorcycle hit another Honda Beat motorcycle with license plate D-6121-UEY, ridden by Ine Yuniarti (20), a student from Gadobangkong, West Bandung.

After the initial collision, Soni’s Honda Revo slid forward and hit the rear of another Honda Beat with license plate D-5073-UDY, ridden by Rinni Novianti (49), who got injured. This second crash caused injuries to the victims, leading them to require medical treatment. “Soni Sanjaya suffered serious injuries and was declared dead on the spot. His body was rushed to Cibabat Hospital in Cimahi,” Yusup explained. The three vehicles involved in the accident have been taken into custody by the police as evidence. Further investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident and hold the responsible parties accountable.

Yusup reminded all drivers to always be cautious while on the road, especially in the morning when traffic is pretty hectic. He emphasized the importance of obeying traffic rules and ensuring that vehicles are roadworthy. As of now, the accident case is still being handled by the Gakkum Unit at the Cimahi Traffic Police. The police are also gathering additional statements from witnesses at the scene for further investigation.
