Meanwhile, PSM Makassar managed to find the back of the net twice, courtesy of Victor Dethan in the 3rd minute and Albertine in the 24th minute.
With this crucial win, Dewa United now boasts 34 points, having secured nine wins, seven draws, and four losses. This places them in fourth position, just three points behind Persebaya Surabaya in third place. On the other hand, PSM Makassar finds themselves in eighth place with 31 points, achieved through seven wins, ten draws, and three losses.
