Realizing Value for Shareholders and the Nation
BRI’s President Director, Sunarso, emphasized that this decision is a tangible manifestation of BRI’s dedication to creating added value for shareholders. “This is proof that BRI is committed to creating value and providing real benefits to shareholders, especially for the country as the majority shareholder,” he stated.

Benefiting the Public and Retail Shareholders
The distribution of dividends not only benefits the government as the majority shareholder but also the general public who are retail shareholders. As of December 2024, the number of BRI shareholders reached 653,251 individuals, making it the largest on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. With an increasing number of shareholders, more of the public will enjoy the benefits of BRI.
Sunarso added that the decision to distribute this interim dividend reflects BRI’s success in maintaining solid financial performance, supported by strong capital and adequate liquidity. “With sufficient liquidity and strong capital, BRI still has enough room to grow even better,” he said.
Positive Signal for the Indonesian Capital Market
This achievement refers to BRI’s Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) reaching 26.76 percent and the Loan Deposit Ratio (LDR) remaining at 89.18 percent as of September 2024. BRI’s decision also sends a positive signal to the Indonesian capital market, showing the company’s consistency in its business transformation.
