Yusri Yunus, born on December 21, 1966, in South Sulawesi, had an illustrious career within the Polri. He served as the former Director of Registration and Identification (Dirregident) of the Korlantas Polri and was also known for his role as the Head of Public Relations at the Jakarta Metro Police.

A graduate of the Police Academy in 1991, Yusri Yunus shared the same cohort as the current Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. Throughout his career, he underwent various police training programs, including PTIK in 1998, Sespim in 2006, Diklatpim in 2018, and specialized courses in traffic accident investigations and registration identification.
