Daihatsu Expects to Sell 168,263 Vehicles by 2024, with Daihatsu Sigra Leading the Pack

In a bid to dominate the Indonesian automotive market, Daihatsu Indonesia has set an ambitious target of selling 168,263 vehicles by the end of 2024. The company recently revealed that the Daihatsu Sigra emerged as the top-selling model, accounting for a significant portion of the total sales.

Top Sellers and Key Contributors

According to a press release received on Tuesday, Daihatsu Sigra recorded a remarkable 54,366 units sold in 2024, making up 32% of the total sales figure. Following closely behind, the Daihatsu Gran Max Pick Up contributed 25% with 41,703 units sold, while the Terios added 12% with 19,873 units sold during the same period.

The environmentally friendly and affordable Hatchback Daihatsu Ayla also made a mark by selling 18,588 units, representing 11% of the total sales. Additionally, the Gran Max Mini Bus saw 15,040 units sold, accounting for 9% of the overall sales, with the Xenia not far behind at 11,014 units, making up 7% of the total sales.

Diverse Range of Models

Other Daihatsu models such as Rocky, Luxio, and Sirion collectively contributed over seven thousand units, approximately 4% of the total Daihatsu vehicle sales in Indonesia in 2024. This diverse range of offerings caters to various customer preferences and needs in the market.
