Reports suggest that Dede Sunandar now works as a waiter at a restaurant in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 area, Tangerang Regency, Banten. Dede Sunandar affirmed this information, stating that he was hired to handle events and assist with waiter and barista duties.
“When I got this job, I took it because Dede had previously worked at a Japanese restaurant,” said Dede Sunandar when approached at PIK 2, Tangerang Regency, Banten, on Tuesday (31/12/2024).
Dede admitted that he had to accept the job offer at the restaurant due to financial pressures and his responsibilities as a husband and father in his family. He had to do whatever it takes to support his wife and three children, ensuring they could eat and go to school.
“Since there are no calls for TV shoots or guest appearances yet, as long as there is work, I’ll take it for my wife and children,” said the 34-year-old man.
Dede Sunandar has opened up about being insulted and verbally abused by the wife of a famous artist. Despite having some money in savings, it is constantly dwindling, so he is willing to do any work available to support his family.
He disclosed that he has been working as a waiter and event organizer at the restaurant since November 2024. Despite his waning television career, Dede is grateful for still being able to secure employment.
