**Police Officer Fatally Stabbed by Drug Dealer During Arrest Operation**
In a tragic turn of events, a police officer from the Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Lahat Police Resort in South Sumatra lost his life while two others were injured during a drug dealer apprehension operation on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in Tanjung Sakti, Lahat.

According to South Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Andi Rian R Djajadi, three members of the Narcotics Investigation Unit were attacked by a drug dealer during the operation. The drug dealer, identified as E and L, managed to stab the officers before being subdued and apprehended by other team members at the scene.
Bripda Fasas Nahbah, a young police officer, tragically succumbed to his injuries and passed away despite being rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. The two other injured officers are currently receiving intensive care at a local medical facility.
