**Fatal Accident in Batu: Police Confirm 3 SMK TI Bali School Buses Unfit for Road**
In a tragic turn of events in Batu, three out of four SMK TI Bali Global Badung school buses involved in a fatal accident have been confirmed by the police as unfit for the road. The incident, which took place on Wednesday night, September 8, 2025, left 14 people injured, including four fatalities.

The accident involved a tourism bus from Sakhindra Trans with license plate DK 7942 GB, which experienced brake failure. The bus collided with several vehicles on Jalan Imam Bonjol to Jalan Ir Soekarno, leading to the devastating outcome. Upon inspection post-accident, Kombes Pol Komarudin, the Director of Traffic of East Java Regional Police, revealed that the three detained buses, with license plates E 7998 YC, H 1056 WS from Sakhindra Trans, and DK 7263 GB from Purnayasa Trans, were found in a souvenir parking lot in Batu.
After thorough examination, it was determined that these buses were in a severe state of disrepair, with damaged tires, expired roadworthiness certificates, and other critical issues. As a result, the police have temporarily detained the buses until all necessary safety requirements are met.
