**Jokowi Denies Involvement in Central Java Gubernatorial Election Dispute at the Constitutional Court: I Am Not the President**

In a recent session of the Central Java Gubernatorial Election dispute at the Constitutional Court in Central Jakarta on Thursday (1/9/2025), the name of the 7th President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), was brought up. Jokowi was alleged to have been involved in orchestrating the victory of Central Java gubernatorial candidate number 2, Ahmad Luthfi.

According to Tribun Solo, Jokowi responded calmly to these claims. He explained that he is no longer the President of Indonesia and has retired. “It’s nothing special. I am not the president anymore. I have retired,” he said when approached at his residence in Sumber, Banjarsari, Solo, Central Java on Friday (1/10/2025).

### Allegations and Legal Action
Previously, gubernatorial candidate pair number 1, Andika Perkasa-Hendrar Prihadi alias Hendi, raised allegations of the involvement of Partai Cokelat or Parcok, Jokowi’s cawe-cawe (cronies), intimidation of village heads, and the transfer of police personnel in an effort to secure the victory of gubernatorial candidate number 2, Ahmad Luthfi-Taj Yasin.

This led to legal action by Andika-Hendi, represented by their legal counsel from the Legal Aid and Advocacy Agency of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), Roy Jansen Siagian. The case was presented under number 263/PHPU.GUB-XXIII/2025 in panel I courtroom of the MK building in Central Jakarta on the previous Thursday.

Roy stated that Ahmad Luthfi is not just a police general with three stars but also someone chosen by Jokowi. The term Parcok, he explained, symbolizes the disappointment of the public and their protest against the leadership of the Indonesian National Police who serve Jokowi’s political interests.

### Further Allegations and Mobilization
Additionally, Andika-Hendi’s camp mentioned the mobilization of village heads across Central Java to form grassroots campaign teams to support Ahmad Luthfi-Taj Yasin’s candidacy. If these village heads do not support Luthfi-Yasin’s victory, they will face intimidation, including threats against election organizers such as the Regional Election Commission (KPU).

Furthermore, the camp of gubernatorial candidate pair number 1 also stated that there were 15 police chief rotations in Central Java, which aimed to secure votes for Luthfi-Yasin across their assigned areas.

This ongoing dispute highlights the complexities and controversies surrounding the gubernatorial election process in Central Java, with various parties making serious allegations and seeking legal recourse to address their concerns and ensure a fair and transparent electoral process.
