Kebakaran Glodok Plaza: Keluarga Berharap Osima Yukari Selamat
Osima Yukari, a 30-year-old flight attendant from Kendal, Central Java, has captured public attention after being reported missing in the tragic fire at Glodok Plaza, Jakarta.
Born in 1995, Osima has been working as a flight attendant for 10 years. Her father, Edi Sunarsono, an artist and Chairman of the Production Department of the Kendal District Art Council, revealed that Osima has been actively achieving various accomplishments since high school.
Details of the Glodok Plaza Fire
The fire at Glodok Plaza occurred on Wednesday, February 15, 2025, around 9:30 PM local time. The fire is suspected to have originated from the nightclub on the 7th floor of the building and quickly spread to floors 6, 8, and 9. A total of 230 personnel and 45 fire trucks were deployed to combat the raging flames.
Osima’s Final Moments
During the fire, Osima was on the 8th floor of Glodok Plaza attending her friend’s birthday party, as confirmed by her father. She was accompanied by three friends, two females, and one male. Only her male friend managed to escape and is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
In her last social media post on February 14, 2025, Osima shared a short video showcasing her activities as a flight attendant. She captioned it with “Welcome on Board” on TikTok, showing her smiling while wearing her flight attendant uniform and an airplane taking off.
Family’s Hope
Edi Sunarsono expressed shock upon hearing that his daughter was listed as missing due to the fire. Currently, he and his family are in Jakarta undergoing DNA tests at the hospital to match with the victims’ DNA. Edi hopes that Osima is still alive and believes in a miracle from God. “We still hope that Osima is safe. But if she has passed, I will accept it and bring her back to Kendal,” he said.
Osima’s family eagerly awaits positive news about their beloved daughter’s whereabouts amidst this uncertain situation.
