During their initial visit, authorities observed ongoing sea enclosure activities covering approximately 7 kilometers. However, subsequent joint inspections with the Indonesian Navy, Water Police, Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency, and the Fisheries Agency of Tangerang Regency revealed a staggering increase in the sea fence’s length.
“After conducting comprehensive investigations with our partners, the sea fence has now extended to a whopping 30 kilometers,” Eli revealed.
