President Prabowo Subianto makes a surprise appearance at Bundaran HI in Central Jakarta to witness the New Year’s Eve celebrations as the clock strikes midnight to welcome 2025. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as Prabowo arrived just minutes before the new year, around 11:58 PM, clad in a long-sleeved brown batik shirt.
As he strolled through the crowd, Prabowo’s presence was met with enthusiastic cheers and waves from the visitors gathered at Bundaran HI. Accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Mayor Teddy, Prabowo made his way from the police post at Bundaran HI towards the main stage located in front of the Grand Hyatt Hotel. However, due to the massive crowd that filled Bundaran HI, Prabowo ultimately decided not to approach the main stage.
Despite the festive ambiance surrounding him, Prabowo chose to remain silent and did not address the public during his brief appearance. Alongside Mayor Teddy, other notable figures seen accompanying Prabowo included Titiek Soeharto, the Chairperson of the House of Representatives Commission IV, and popular TV personality Deddy Corbuzier, along with their entourage.
