Djuanda Forest Park in Bandung, West Java. This ultimate trail race isn’t just about the competition; it’s a priceless opportunity to connect with nature while marveling at the integrated conservation area that combines secondary natural forests with plantation forests.

The Return of a Trailblazing Event

After a hiatus due to the Covid-19 disaster and political dynamics, the Tahura Trail Running Race 2025 is back as a highly anticipated event for runners from Asia and beyond. This race, which began in 2013, is now in its 10th edition, promising an unforgettable experience that promotes sportsmanship, safety, fun, and environmental preservation.

Embracing Sustainability and Community

Beyond the trail run, the event includes the Trail Expo, featuring 45 participants from supporting brands and various local businesses. From outdoor sports brands to community running groups and health product vendors, the Trail Expo offers a diverse array of products and services for participants and spectators to enjoy.

The innovative concept of Tahura Trail Running Race 2025 combines the thrill of trail running with environmental conservation efforts and showcases the exotic cultural heritage of West Java. With the motto “One Runner, One Tree,” participants are invited to join in planting and caring for trees to preserve the forest ecosystem.

A Global Gathering of Runners

This year’s race has drawn participants from 19 countries and 27 provinces in Indonesia, reflecting a diverse international presence. From the United States to Japan, runners from around the world are coming together to tackle the challenging terrains of the Tahura Trail Running Race, featuring picturesque views and fresh mountain air unique to North Bandung.

Upon completing the race, each participant will receive a tree seedling to plant at home or within the Tahura area, contributing to the forest’s biodiversity and long-term conservation efforts.

As the excitement builds for the Tahura Trail Running Race 2025, the surge in community engagement is palpable. The family category has seen a significant increase in team registrations, with 195 teams this year compared to fewer than 100 in previous editions. Additionally, the new Fun Trail 10K category has exceeded expectations with 346 participants eager to take on the challenge in the conservation setting of Tahura.

With its recognition by international trail running associations and its position as one of Indonesia’s top five favorite trail runs, the Tahura Trail Running Race continues to captivate runners and spectators alike, setting the stage for an unforgettable adventure in the heart of West Java’s natural wonders.
