The Department of Education, Youth, and Sports (Dinas Dikpora) in DIY has put together a team to investigate the alleged leakage of questions in the Regional Education Standardization Assessment (ASPD) at the junior high school level. According to the investigation conducted, the Head of Disdikpora DIY, Suhirman, revealed that most of the questions that were circulating were actually district-level trial questions, not official ASPD questions. Despite finding two numeracy literacy questions that were identical to the official ASPD questions among the leaked questions, Disdikpora has decided not to repeat the ASPD Numeracy Literacy assessment for junior high school students even though these two questions were leaked. “We did find two numeracy literacy questions in the screenshots that were spread through the application, which were identical to the official ASPD questions. However, we have decided not to retest the ASPD Numeracy Literacy, as the impact of the leakage is very limited,” said Suhirman to reporters in Yogyakarta on Friday (9/5/2025). Suhirman stated that the two leaked identical questions would be considered as bonus questions for all participants in the DIY ASPD. So whether the answer is right or wrong, they will still receive points. “We consider the two leaked numeracy questions as bonus questions for all participants in the DIY ASPD. We are doing this to appreciate students who have studied diligently,” he said.
