**Blessings of Caring for Elderly Parents**
**Jakarta, Indonesia** – In the ancient times of the Bani Israil, there lived a poor family consisting of a father and four children. The father was old and frail, struggling to get through each day. Only one of his four sons was willing to care for him, and that son was Abdullah. “You all don’t want to care for father because you won’t inherit anything from him later. Let me take care of him,” Abdullah said.
Every day, Abdullah served his father. Gently and respectfully, he attended to all of his father’s needs. Eventually, his father passed away without leaving behind any inheritance. Abdullah then bathed, prayed for, and buried his father. Afterward, he returned home.
### **Abdullah’s Dream and the Unexpected Blessings**
One night, Abdullah dreamt of a person who appeared poor but acted arrogantly. The strange man told him, “Come to this place, dig the ground there, and you will find 100 dinars. Just take it!” “Is there any blessing in that money?” Abdullah asked. “No!” the man replied before disappearing.
The next morning, Abdullah told his wife about the dream. She advised him to go to the specified location. If there really was 100 dinars there, he should take it and use it for daily needs. However, Abdullah was reluctant to do so.
Surprisingly, he had the same dream for several nights in a row. Each morning, his wife urged him to go to the place indicated in the dream and take the money there. Abdullah remained unmoved. On the fourth night, he had a slightly different dream. This time, the strange man who approached him said, “Take one dinar from there!” “Is there any blessing in it?” Abdullah inquired. “Yes, there is!” the man exclaimed before vanishing from sight.
In the morning, Abdullah went to the location as per the instructions of the mysterious man in his dream the previous night. True enough, there was a pile of money in the ground. However, he only took one dinar.
On his way back home, Abdullah met a fisherman selling fish. He bought two fish for one dinar from him. When he arrived home, his wife received the fish he had bought. To her surprise, inside the stomachs of the two fish were incredibly beautiful diamonds.
“If the king knew, he would surely buy these diamonds at any price,” Abdullah muttered.
