**Indonesia Emas 2025: Menaker Yassierli Reviews Critical Achievements**
PADANG — Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli has identified the first half of 2025 as a critical turning point in determining whether Indonesia will achieve its “Golden Indonesia” vision by 2045. “The critical point of whether the 2045 Golden Indonesia achievement will be realized or not lies in this 2025,” said Menaker Yassierli in Padang, West Sumatra, on Saturday (1/11/2025). The Minister made this statement during a gathering and national dialogue of Universitas Andalas (Unad) alumni, titled “Strengthening Aspects of Manpower to Support National Economic Growth.”
### The Crucial Turning Point
Menaker Yassierli highlighted two strong reasons why the situation in 2025 will determine the realization of Golden Indonesia by 2045. Firstly, the limitations of the State Budget (APBN). Secondly, the global economic conditions are not in a favorable position. “There is economic contraction and international geopolitical uncertainty,” he said. Therefore, if Indonesia can pass through 2025 by effectively implementing several strategic agendas set by President Prabowo, economic growth in 2026, 2027, and beyond is predicted to grow up to eight percent.
### President Prabowo’s Economic Targets
During the national dialogue, Yassierli presented several of Prabowo’s targets in the economic sector as a top priority. Firstly, achieving food self-sufficiency aimed at building or creating food security, especially for rice, corn, cassava, soybeans, and sugarcane. In the energy security sector, Prabowo envisions Indonesia becoming the world’s green energy leader through the development of biodiesel and bio-avtur products from palm oil, including harnessing geothermal potential. Next, the government will strengthen the downstream and industrialization sectors by continuing nickel downstreaming and adding value to bauxite, copper, tin, agricultural products, and maritime products. Lastly, in the tourism sector, Indonesia aims to reach 14.6 to 16 million foreign tourist visits. Meanwhile, domestic tourist movements are targeted at 1.08 billion.
By focusing on these key areas and targets, Indonesia is striving to position itself as a strong global player in various sectors, ensuring sustainable growth and development for the nation.
### Conclusion
As Indonesia navigates the challenges and opportunities on its journey towards becoming a Golden Indonesia by 2045, the decisions and actions taken in 2025 will play a pivotal role in shaping the country’s future. With strategic planning, effective implementation of policies, and strong leadership, Indonesia aims to overcome obstacles and achieve its vision of prosperity and success.
